The Lions is a small boutique bed and breakfast establishment in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, that offers comfort and a place to relax, and is a home from home. A beautiful, Grade II listed, detached townhouse, it is one of the finest late Georgian buildings in Newark.
The house has an attractive and welcoming façade and a front garden area with parking facilities. The rear garden offers a well-kept space comprising a large lawn, flower beds, shrubs and trees, and a lovely, large patio, offering guests the possibility of enjoying breakfast, lunch or, perhaps, in the summer, supper, outdoors in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
The Lions is centrally located, an easy 10-minute walk from the town’s market square and varied shopping facilities and a 15-minute walk or a short taxi-ride from both Newark North Gate and Newark Castle railway stations. The centre of Newark with all its attractions is a 10 minute walk away.
