This magnificent medieval church, in the heart of Newark, has been a place of worship for over 800 years. The Church is noted for its tower and octagonal spire, the highest in Nottinghamshire and reputedly the fifth tallest in the UK.
St Mary Magdalene is open to all on a daily basis for prayer, quiet reflection, or to simply explore the sacred space.
Visitors to St Mary's can soak up the peaceful atmosphere, explore the history of the building on a guided tour, or visit the Spire Coffee House.
