Sherwood Pines Camping

Sherwood Pines camping and glamping site is an multi-award winning campsite, nestled within 20 acres of breathtaking woodland, offering a serene forest retreat, deep within legendary Robin Hood county. Open all year-round, it allows visitors to enjoy the forest's beauty in every season.  

In the well stocked shop in reception, you will find all your essentials including fresh local meat, bread, eggs, milk, pantry staples, as well as ice cream, cold drinks, a selection of popular wines and beers, a fresh Rijo coffee machine along with gifts & toys and a selection of camping essentials. Down on site they also have 24hr cash/card vending machines dispensing sweet treats and hot/cold beverages just when you want.  

Whether seeking an adventurous outdoor excursion or a peaceful getaway. The site has it's own children's playpark, and is conveniently situated near a variety of activities for all interests, including scenic walking and cycling paths, fishing, thrilling adventures, and family-friendly outings. Just a short walk directly from site to Sherwood Pines visitor centre and Go Ape, the campsite provides an abundance of activities for both camping and glamping enthusiasts.  

They boast modern facilities, including free Wi-Fi, large separate family bathrooms with baby changing, accessible bathrooms, toilets, laundry, dishwashing facilities, a backpacker airing and locker room, and even a convenient bike servicing area. Plus, dogs camp for free and they offer a free purpose-built dog wash to pamper your four-legged friend after a day of adventures.
